Muslim travellers plan around questions most travel sites never ask: where is the nearest mosque, is there a prayer mat in the room, where can we eat halal, can we reach Friday prayer. Halal Travels Club curates trips where those answers are checked in advance, and needed a site that makes that promise felt in the first second, then carries a traveller from a trip they love to a personal quote.
What we built
- 01
The Hour of Light
The homepage sky is a live 3D scene that follows today’s prayer times. Tap Fajr, Dhuhr or Isha and the sun glides there while the whole page relights, from pre-dawn blue to sunset rose to a starlit night.
- 02
Real prayer times for your city
Major cities built in, your own city found automatically, or your exact location, each calculated the way that country calculates them, right in the browser. Switch to London or New York and the sky jumps to their hour.
- 03
A curated catalogue
Trips across Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, filtered by region and length.
- 04
Journey pages that answer the real questions
A day-by-day plan, the halal facilities checked for that trip, a gallery, inclusions and conditions, with the enquiry always in reach on a phone.
- 05
Quote-first by design
Every trip is quoted personally and never charged instantly. WhatsApp is one tap away, and travellers sign in with Google or email to save trips and follow their quotes.
- 06
An admin console
The team manages packages, destinations and every enquiry in one place.
Engineering
- The sky is a custom WebGL shader driven by six hour states, each with its own palette for sky, text and glass.
- Prayer times are computed offline with each country’s own method, so the page never waits on an API.
- Package pages and the sitemap are generated from the catalogue the team edits.
